RESOURCE: My 3 favorite workout partners that I've never met in real life.

If you’re anything like me, finding and picking and sticking with a workout routine can sometimes feel really hard. That’s why - as a former athlete (believe it or not) - at this point in my life, I focus on movement, not just high performance workouts. I do this for a few reasons, but mostly because I’m too old and busy to be suffering through physical exercise that doesn’t bring me joy. And because, plainly, I have to be very careful about not choosing movement that causes my body more inflammation than the stress of serial entrepreneurship and allergies, and … you name it.

I’m sure you’ve been able to identify - at least once in life - some sort of movement that feels right for you. But in the case that you haven’t, or you’re just looking to add some new options for physical activity into your life, here are a few of my favorite women that have been with me - through thick body and thin body, weeks of international travel, months of solo work from home, and more - for the last four to five years.

  1. Faith Hunter aka Spiritually Fly - Faith is a yoga teacher, yes. And so much more. Faith is the Owner and Creator of Embrace Yoga DC, a yoga and wellness center located in Adams Morgan – a multicultural nest of Washington, DC. She is also the architect of Spiritually Fly™, a life philosophy that celebrates every moment of life, and uses the technology of breath, movement, sound (chanting & music), and stillness, in a fresh and modern way to encourage students to live an epic life.

2. Adriene Mishler bka Yoga With Adriene - Adriene Mishler is an actress, writer, international yoga teacher and entrepreneur from Austin, Texas. On a mission to get the tools of yoga into schools and homes, Adriene hosts the YouTube channel Yoga With Adriene, an online community of over 4 million subscribers. Yoga With Adriene provides high quality practices on yoga and mindfulness at no cost to inspire people of all ages, shapes and sizes across the globe.

3. Keaira Lashae - She’s literally everything. I won’t even give you a bio, I’ll just let you go find out for yourself.

BONUS: I’ve recently started adding Barre3 classes into my weekly routines. They definitely help with core strength and general body strength and flexibility. But, I’ll spend a little more time with some of my preferred videos before I go making you all any recommendations.
